Die Theresienstädter Kabaretts

Taussig was a prisoner of Terezín who did not survive. He documented the society at Terezín in a number of sketches. The article at hand is on the cabarets of Terezín, a part of the famous Freizeitgestaltung, the cultural life in Terezín. Taussig describes and reviews the cabarets and gives a survey of the different groups that appeared there. He also quotes from the different chapters and conveys a concrete idea of how the cabaret artist worked thought up certain ideas.
